Omanisation rates have been increasing in three sectors in the sultanate – industrial, travel and tourism and logistics – the Ministry of Manpower (MoM) has stated. These sectors saw an eight per cent increase this year as compared to 2017.
The ministry expects a further increase of 3.5 per cent in these three sectors by 2020, following its various programmes and strategies to boost Omanisation rate in the country.
